Just to be clear, I am talking about the Elizabethan collar and not an electric
collar.?

Has anyone had luck with E-collars?? I have tried them several times and hate
them.? This last time, 11mos old boy, just neutered, destroyed it in less than
20mins.? It is cumbersome, confusing for the dog and impractical if you need to
crate the dog.? I also tried the neck collar and found that a strong GSD can
break that down in a heartbeat.?
In the last 3 years, I have had numerous surgeries on my dogs.? Each time was
frustrating.? I restorted to modified T-shirts to prevent licking and ripping
out sutures.? I also resorted to bitch britches on?the just neutered male.? Not
the best fit but it works.? I am not a seamstress but have come up with some
designs that will will provide post surgical clothing for dogs and cats.? It
will be fitted to the dog as well as having generic sizes for vet's patients.?
It will be breathable material with full coverage for most major surgeries,
including spay, neuter, bloat, cyst removal and any core body surgery.?
Eventually, I will include hip and leg coverage.?
My question to you all is this:? Would this be something you would buy and
use??
I?modified each item and was pleased with the results.? Tell me what you
think.?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
