Oh yes,  I have this discussion with my students all the time.  Half my class 
stopped drinking milk when I told them it comes from a cow and what part it 
comes from!!  Adn this year I have kindergardeners! Just wait when I tell them 
where McD's hamburger (well half of it) comes from.

I'm not a Peta freak ( actually sometimes they do more harm than  
good!) but i am still a vegetarian and guess  what...I'm not dead!! If  
everybody had to kill their own animal to eat they're would be a lot  
more of us..But it's easy to buy it in the grocery store.  Did you  
know that some urban kids don't even know that eggs comes from chicken  
and steak comes from a cow.  Men we are so disconnected it ain't  
funny...
Look at the most brilliant peole (Einstein, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Darwin  
and many many more ) we're all vegetarians..Ain't that weird!! maybe  
they knew something.
How many hours of suffering for an animal just for a minute of  
pleasure in your mouth.
