If you rotate it it will be do-able for everyone every few years. If you put it
in one place you get people who will automatically decide that it is too far
and plan other things. Planning other things becomes a habit and the show
becomes less and less "important".
If we want to make the show successful we should be ramping up the performance
parts but this club does little to encourage the use of GSDs in performance.
Sooner or later we need to concentrate on the vast majority of the GSD owner
and once we have their attention we can educate them about the standard and all
those other fine things we hold so dear.

Seems Utah or Colorado is "central" to the West...and St. Louis is more
"Central" to the East....and about as close as we are going to get at
this moment in time to make it workable for either side of the Country.
( again...not asking for "perfection".......just "POSSIBLE" )
Certainly JUST Utah or Colo. three years in a row would not make a lot of
people happy. <G>
I understand the Board wanting to possibly make up some "revenue"....but
a National with a smaller and smaller attendance won't do that either.
AND AGAIN....will do the Breed no good.
St. Louis is at least attainable compared to Pa.

Hmm, Topeka is so close to that all. The B&F chair suggested to book it 2
times at the time and we would have gotten it at a reduced cost, but the
board voted no.
never understood that when so many want center......and it WAS a good and
convenient site.
