[ SHOWGSD-L ] EMAIL PROBLEMS

We had very serious electric, phone and email problems here after the
hurricane. While on the surface those things are functional here now,
Bellsouth (my Internet service) has never been right since the storm. My
cell service has been weird too (that is Cingular, which is also related to
Bellsouth !). What is really frustrating is that there is no way to tell -
I do get SOME email, and am successful in sending sometimes. The problem is
some of what I send and what is sent to me apparently winds up in the
Bermuda Triangle - and I can't tell which things I send don't ever get to
the intended recipients, and I have been learing that emails sent to me do
not necessarily ever get through, although some do. And of course, I have
no way of knowing what is sent to me that I never get....! Same with the
cell phone - there are calls I never get, messages I never get, although
there are lots that I DO get - so no way to know what is missing.
So, if you have sent me email (or left voice mail) and I have not responded,
please re-send. It probably never made it... And, if you were expecting
something from me via email that you didn't receive, please let me know, as
again, it is probably in the Bermuda Triangle.
