After feeling like a "lone voice in the wilderness" for some time
I SURELY appreciate Linda Bankhead and her huge work and efforts
IMMENSELY!! THANK YOU SO MUCH Linda!! You have gotten more done
in a week than I could do in two years! <G>
Hope you all take time even just to read what Linda has put in an easy
to read format below. The weakness of the revisions is glaring.

ie.

Head: Almost any and all colors of noses are no longer a DQ.

Color: ONLY ALBINOS are disqualified! NO PROBLEM...there AREN'T ANY!!

Coats: ANYTHING goes! Except lack of undercoat is DQ! NO DOGS can be
shown out of coat! BUT...long coats are fine. <G>
"dense as possible"?? .. eh? Long coats are dense on the bottom and
all the trim and bushings. <G>
"somewhat longer" ... eh? A judge is going to have lots of fun
deciding what is incorrect now...but it sure WON'T BE A LONG COAT!!

DQ's. Well there are NO ALBINOS in this Breed to DQ anyway...so
WHAT is an "ALBINO CHARACTERISTIC"???

Seems to me the most simple part of this Standard Revision is a big
resounding NOOOOOOooooooo!

Thank you everyone for the nice emails. I am a bit over whelmed with
questions. (which is good!) Below is the timeline of events and the revised
standard you will be voting on.
It is important to note that the color is not just about the white GSD. A
nose not predominantly black will no longer be a DQ. This new standard
will now allow blues and livers along with whites to be serious faults.
