We do tend to think nothing of a drive. I drive about 50 minutes each  way 
to and from work every day, and I consider that local. We might drive half  
an hour to lunch as it is close.
 
We have great weather, (it is 80 or so today) and great roads. We fill  
those roads with cars, however. Today I had an appearance in San Bernardino  
court, about an hour and a half each way. I have to return to that court  
tomorrow. We just get up earlier. If I tried to go there after ten, it would  
take two and a half hours.
 
I was scheduled for a 10 day trial in San Diego starting Monday. About two  
hours each way.  They just canceled it, and tomorrow I will get the new  
date.
 
It is a strange place to live, but after seven weeks in a row with two  
shows each weekend, it seems like the right place to show dogs.  Although,  you 
better have a car you enjoy.
