My older sister was the lucky one -- or so it seemed at the time. She got
horseback riding lessons and, by the time I came along, my dad was tired of
watching little girls fall off horses, so I got piano lessons.
My sister was a professional dressage rider for many years and because of
her I bought my own horse my first year after college much to my dad's
dismay! It is a beautiful sport.
