Mo, my mother has a favorite saying "the dog you need to watch is the one who ISN'T making the fuss". That can be true <G>. I don't have dogs that act a fool when someone comes to the door; they just sit quietly and watch. (They aren't allowed to scratch the paint!!!!). So anyway, one day the doorbell rings, Justin (Becky x Jim son) was in my office w/ me and we go down to answer. Justin sat to my left, and with the door only opened part way, he was partially obscured by the side panel/decorative window. Not a peep. (Justin has a head about the size of your beloved state). I had canceled the Scott's organic lawn service. It didn't seem to be doing anything and now this guy had come to argue over why I shouldn't cancel. I didn't invite him in, but he placed his hand on the door at one point and Justin stood. I think that was the first time he noticed the dog. "Does he bite?" "Only when I tell him to." That was the end of the conversation. Lordy, my boys would take longer to get from the back door to the bitch (20-30 ft) than it took them to get the job done, LMAO, THAT is a "breeding stallion"! I ALSO want to see them have the SENSE to know when to turn the aggression on and when to turn it off. Ring side at a show, is surely not the place to be aggressive. I love it when people ask me if my dogs bite,I tell them only IF you do something you need to get bit for! Other than in the face of danger for me OR them, I expect them to act like true Texas Gentlemen. Mo > > After reading Dave's interview...I have a question.
