I think there is no more Gazette, is there? Besides, the PC contacts the
members, not AKC

The process for a breed standard to be revised requires that the membership
of the club be balloted to vote on the proposed changes. At this time the
proposed revisions are being published for comment. All comments are being
forwarded to the breed standard committee of the GSDCA for review. The
Board of the AKC will review as well prior to granting permission to ballot
the membership of the club.****
