I think none of us will know the answer to that until we are able to sit down
and
find out what our bitch's problems are and start there before we ever begin to
look for a stud. We may all switch bloodlines and stock.......who knows. <G>
We may just set our hearts and hope in the line we are already working with as
it
may be no better and no worse than others, but we are familiar with what we get
in type and temperament and quality.
In these conversations about breeding it always seems to be where we will find a
stud that won't give us problems. We need to start with our bitches and what
problems they are producing before we start insisting the stud be free of all
problems. We will likely go into a breeding with more knowledge....but it will
still
take the actual breeding, and choosing something from the results, to see what
bullets we dodged and which new wounds we picked up along the way to know.
As we work to solve some problems we will surely lose some good things along
the way. Doesn't sound a lot different than it already is does
it...............<G>
