This blows me away, lol. I just sent them $25 to have OVC results listed
and they will take any "Tom, Dick or Harry" for a cardiac cert.

What they (DDC) have told me is that OFA will not accept results from them.
OFA decides which labs are "good" and which are not, but they do use DDC
for other genetic tests so go figure. And I'm surprised to hear that OFA
is accepting Animal Genetics.. Are you sure? The OFA website only
indicates its own lab OFA/MU is accepted for DM testing. In my opinion,
OFA is trying to have a virtual monopoly on this testing so they can
control the pricing. I agree with what others have said, DDC gives great
customer service, quick results, lower base fee and discount for multiple
tests and/or multiple dogs. I wish the GSDCA Board would try to influence
OFA to add results from the other labs. That would be win-win.
