[ SHOWGSD-L ] Croups?

Depends...if it's a proper croup, leave it alone. (I AM blessed although I
have had my share of cowlicks, usually with pretty plush puppies!)
If you have cowlicks, I like a hand held #10 blade, but start this a week
or two before the show. Too steep? A dab of volumizer, blow it up against
the direction of hair growth and hope it's not a humid day <G>. Too
short, pull out that #10 blade again and sculpt. But before you (generic you)
start sculpting make sure you know what you are doing...or grab somebody
that does.
BTW, croups are a big deal when I evaluate puppies. (I'm stupid for
shoulders too). I've heard people say croups change...I've never seen that.
They are either there or they are not as far as I can see. Even when I look
back at puppy photos...either there or not.
