Thanks to Stormy, I did get to watch the Group. I hadn't heard who won,
so it was a great joy to see Rumor win. I know the judge is a shepherd
person, and that can make it harder, as he would know what was being shown.
I sent the link to a friend of mine in San Francisco who wanted to know
what a dog show was like. She watched it with her kids, knowing I am a
shepherd person. She posted how fantastic it was, and when Rumor won, her 10
year
old daughter had tears in her eyes. That is what this breed can mean to
those who can recognize a quality dog.
I don't know who the BIS judge was, but Rumor is hard to beat. I am happy
for Van and Debbie, and of course Kent, who now has done everything with
her he can.
It is now only the second shepherd to win Westminster, (I think), and both
times great representatives of the breed.
