I just want to congratulate all the winners at the National, the dogs that
got placements, the GV and GVX and all of the Selects! What a great national,
and I'm still speechless (that's why I haven't written yet) that 'Storm' is
now Sel. Ex. Ch. Tindrock's Fire Storm at NIMH, OFA, TC, HIC!!!!!!!!! It was
very tough competition and there were many more dogs and bitches that could
have gone Select..........but where do you cut them? I think Ed did what he
had to do and as I said, could have had even more Selects! Way to go Ed!
Getting Storm to this award was a TEAM Effort, and humble and sincere thanks
to
Bart and Cindy for their belief in Storm and getting him into condition for
the National! Boy, it's good to have friends like them! Also, thanks to
Jim, Sheree, Jane, Kent and Raul for their support in this endeavor and to
Raul
for a great handling job! I am truly blessed. I must also thank my good
friend Sue Barr who stayed behind and cared for my dogs while I was at the
national and also, to you, for the crowd support. I also want to thank Laurie
Pruett who put me in touch with Steve and Pat Roda, who drove Storm home to
me,
so he wouldn't have to fly! I want to thank Michele Hitt (who is not on this
List) for allowing me to take Storm home after Keith's passing 2 weeks after
last year's national, for without that, Storm's Select would not have been
possible. I know for sure Keith watched this from heaven above! And to
Leslie, your hug meant the world to me because you, you handled Storm's grand
dam
"Sel. Ch. Kena" to her Select back in 1993! This was a long time coming and
I am so happy! Thank you everyone, and to anyone I may have forgotten to
mention--Thank you. This is a National I will never forget! -Cheryl
