Strauss and I are lucky, and live near a dog friendly park called Baird's
creek. There are HUGE hills there and I use them to run Strauss and build
muscle
and endurance. His rear has become quite impressive, and he really has to
use the muscles of his forequarter to pull himself back up the incline. It's
not too hard on his joints, he gets in a good round of fetch, and everybody's
happy.
