Hey, I've lived here all of my life. 25 inches, where? I live in Denver, and I sure don't see it. Even now there may be a couple of inches but the streets were clear even at 4 in the morning when I go to work. Wasn't there a national a very short time ago much further north..in say Oregon at the same time of year???? I know it's much colder and whiter earlier in the year than here and it sticks around longer earlier as well. How did anyone manage that National??? Pam and the pack. I can only repeat that as long as my daughter lived here in Longmont (20 minutes or so northwest of Denver), she never has been snowed in more than one day. That's all winter. It can be 33 one day, then 70 the next, she says. The first snows may be 3 or 4 inches, maybe even 5 in Denver, but melt by the next morning. The time to worry about snows in Denver area is in January. One time, the first year they moved here, 11 years ago, there was a snowstorm the 20th of September, 2 days after the kids started school. That was the last time there was snow that early. And there's no snow in Denver today, none on I-25 from Denver to Ft. Collins today. sigh Stormy In a message dated 10/11/05 1:59:04 PM, VPREZHMF@xxxxxxx writes: > Fox News had two National weather forecasters on.
