Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Chicago brags!
What a weekend! As usual the clubs put on a nice show. We had a great time
with clients & friends. Special thanks to Jerry & Fran Rood for hosting
get-together in their suite Saturday night. It was a wonderful time eating,
drinking, & catching up/socializing with so many terrific people. Kinda like
shows used to Always be like!
At the 2 shows on Saturday our young girl FVx Sel Ch Windfall's Who Says v
Chablis "Selena" went Best of Breed in large specials classes under Edie Trocki
& Nancy Harper. Thank you both for the wins and nice comments. Congrats
co-owners Bonnie Money, Tina Bagdanich & Tiffany Bartley, who had Selena in
impeccable condition. Selena is sired by High Voltage "Diesel", out of my Gr
Ch Joelle's Golddigger of Jeseffan CD, RN, CGC, TC, ROM aka "Taylor"
Speaking of Taylor, I showed her in Veterans all 3 shows. At the show today
under Chris Walkowicz I decided to have some fun and asked my partner Mark
Moxley to take Taylor in for Breed. Mark has only been to about 5 weekends of
dog shows over the past year, including the national, but never been in the
ring or really done anything "show-like" with any dogs. I gave him a 5 min
crash course and we all went in. 8 specials, WD, WB and Mark with Taylor. Mark
did beautifully with Taylor and they ended up winning the whole thing! Taylor
8 years old, Mark first time in the ring and a huge Best of Breed at the
Triangle. It was the perfect way to end a great weekend!
