Guess I have to go outside and take the new Camera away from an eight month old
puppy we have.
He swore he would only take quality photos of himself to be published......and
I went on Facebook just
to let him publish them....... only if they were high quality photos so he
could find a new show home.
( I can't afford any more film for him.... )
Kind of wonder how much money PETA spent on this law suit....and from whom they
get that kind of
money....and WHICH COURT allowed the law suit to get that far..........
The State of California.........always leading the way in
............uh....what now?? <G>

SHOWGSD-L ] Chalk one up for us, and a loss for PETA`
In California, (where else could it happen), PETA sued on behalf of a crested
macaque, (monkey) to say he/she had rights to the pictures he took on a camera
that was sitting in front of him. Naruto, (the monkey) took selfies of
himself/herself, and the camera owner published them.
The Federal Court of Appeals determined that since Congress had not given the
rights to animals to sue, and since they could not marry or inherite property,
"all imply humanity and necessarily exclude animals that do not marry and do
not have heirs entitled to property by law." An animal cannot claim the
rights to pictures of itself.
One more down for PETA, and a big win for animal lovers.
