yes it was, only a few weeks after 9-11-01......I attended that National with
several friends, right after the National we all went on an Alaskan
cruise..Cappy Pottle, and the late Great Dick Whalen were the judges...I
believe Gail Hardcastle's dog went GV with Xtra Xtra # 2 select...Cappy also
went on an Alaskan cruise after that National, but she was not on our
ship...that National went a long way in healing my damaged, depressed
soul...During 9-11..I think Dick was stuck in Hawaii doing a show there......I
miss Dick, who shared almost none of my views....Ed
