When I went to the Canadian National in Surrey, this is some additional
information I was given:
All meds for people and dogs need to be in their original prescription
containers.
Bring dog kibble in small unopened bags as some open kibble bags can be
confiscated. Some one in our group did have an open bag confiscated coming
back into the states.
I had all this along with passport, health certificate and rabies certificate
but was never asked for anything. Really does depend on who you get at the
border crossing
