Well, it didn't turn out as I'd hoped. I got nowhere with the Dumb Friends'
League, but finally got someone willing to help at the Boulder Humane
Society. The dog on the Petfinder list WAS in Boulder, but they said it was
a purebred Pom and that it had been reunited with its owner. I questioned
him very closely, but he said the owner identified the dog "to a T,"
including the description of a previous injury they could verify. The dog
was flown back to Louisiana.
Tara was disappointed and confused because she said both the description of
the dog [Pomeranian Mix] and the photo clearly described a "mix," not a
purebred.
Because the dog is no longer in Colorado, there's not much else I can do.
I feel so SORRY for all these people missing their animals. I would be
BESIDE myself if mine were missing. I wish more people would microchip their
animals.
