He was probably satisfied that they were not sound and that is all that
matters. I know last year I had a large class and I faulted all the best
bitches for temperament. I ended with some not so nice in structure but they
were sound in temperament so I awarded them the placings. I think if a judge
is satisfied that in his opinion they are not sound then there is no need to
blow them out of the ring and embarrass the owners and handlers. That is
my take on the temperament situation. That is how I do it whether it be a
National, Specialty or all breed and that is in every breed that I judge.

The girls lowered their heads a little, BUT they recovered and the judge
was able to pet them so I don't understand. Like I said maybe I am blind
