The train derailed about 1/2 mile (4 or 5 blocks) from where I live. I was in
the voluntary evacuation zone. The fumes were strong most of the morning from
the burning alcohol, but I haven't heard of any major health issues related.
Kept the dogs inside until later in the day when the wind changed direction and
seemed better. I know they were letting it burn all day and night yesterday
because it was determined to be safer to let it go, than to try to clean it up.
Pretty scary!
