I have been suggesting to my Congressman and Senators etc that the HEalth Care
bill needs to
address Medical Liability for Physicians - People sue if their health care is
not perfect for both
malpractice and malfeasance inspite of peoples best effords and using SOP
ER and OBY physicians are the most sued
I also suggested a three person panel to decide whether a suit has merit - One
lay person, one
lawyer and one physcian
If they decide the suit has merit, it can proceed. Kinda like a GRAND JURY
panel for criminal
torts.
So I for one think that a three panel arbitration on resolution of dog problems
for our breed is a
great idea. I doubt that binding arbitration would work as GSDCA is Not a
legal entity. But the
results of the panels decision could be published in the review
I also doubt that any Breeders Code with Teeth would pass the memebrship - we
are GSDs!
