Yes I have heard the same, clear nail polish; also hairspray. I have soaked in
vinegar and epson salt after getting into chiggers...yes I agree Kathy....bad
bugs in Arkansas. Cannot see them at all.

I remember when i was
little they use to put clear nail polish oner jiggers to
suffocate them. Don't remember if it worked
