[ SHOWGSD-L ] Breeders beware - The Hunte Clause

It's occured to me that Hunte joined the GSDCA because he is interested in
showing and breeding GSD's. The next question would be who in their right mind
would sell him a dog.
I'm sure there are plenty of breeders out there that would but for those of
us that will not under any circumstances, something to keep in mind; Hunte
could have a 3rd party buyer come in and buy a promising puppy. That buyer
could than in turn resell the dog to Hunte.
Most of us have a rights of first refusal in our contract but if they buyer
told you they had a perfect show home for the puppy, how many of us would
actually buy the puppy back. I'm not to worried for myself but some of bigger
breeders out there might want to put something in their contract that forbids
any resale of the dog to a broker or more specifically to Andrew Hunte.
