What a wonderful National! A chance to get together with friends, meet new
people and enjoy the many beautiful german shepherds. Jeff Pyle has already
posted about the wins with Selena (2012 Am/Can Futurity Victrix and Am Select
8) so I'll limit this post to Mayor's accomplishments.
My boy Mayor, Bridgelady-Hillside's The Mayor (Ch. Coda's Miracle in the Making
x Ch. Joelle's Next Level v Bridgelady CD RN) gave me a couple of early
60th birthday presents. Mayor was selected as the Amateur Maturity Victor and
Best Bred By at the National and I had the thrill of being in the other end of
his lead for all of his awards. Thank you Judges Helen Gleason and Cappy
Pottle for the Amaturity Maturity Victor award; Judge Cappy Pottle for the
Best
Bred By Dog award; and Judge Lew Bunch for selecting Mayor for the Joan Fox
Memorial Trophy for Best Bred By Exhibitor. Mayor is co-owned/co-bred with
Tiffany Bartley and we are truly honored to receive this award.
Mayor was also the Best Bred by Dog at the Canadian National this year.
