Years ago a handler convinced me to pull my dog because he needed one point,
and the show was a major. I regret it to this day! It took me six months to
get that one point. He had won the day before and was on a roll.
I'm sorry, but next time I'll waste a major. :)

Anyone that breaks a major just to keep someone else from getting it is

I remember driving over 1000 miles , one way to shows where there were
majors only to have people pull because they were afraid my dog would beat
theirs. and yes I too paid my entries and great expense to get there.
For people to do this doesn't say much for what they really think of their
own dog, so why bother showing it in the first place.
Pulling for any other reason other than lameness or illness is just
totally
unethical and disrespectful . And as they say in the old country. "What
goes
around comes around."
