This will be a little long and a little late on some but here
goes..................
Adelhund's Pocket Full Of Gold ( that sable Ray Bearone son ) made his debut on
the weekend shows with GSD Clubs of Toledo, Northern Ohio , and W
Pa......................
This was his first time out and away from home with very minimal training on
his bad dog mommy's part....................
He received his first Best Puppy win under judge Fred Migliore at the Toledo
show . thanks so much Fred for the nice win and for the really nice comment you
made to ringside about our boy while competing for the best puppy.
I must give a huge THANK YOU to Linda Bankhead for stepping up and doing an
awesome job handling our boy. She had him settled down and showing like a pro
within minutes after just getting her hands on him.
A few more weeks training at home and off we went to the Mid Atlantic futurity
weekend..................................
We ended up 3 rd in the 9-12 puppy classes both days and 5th in a very
competive junior futurity class................
I must give alot of thanks to Kent Boyle's for taking this boy sight unseen and
having not only "Chompy" learning what these big rings are all about and how
to have fun in them but for taking the extra time to also help get his double
handling challenged mother in the right spots for most of the right time :)
Then onto the Michigan weekend....................................
Once again with his new buddy Kent "Chompy" was shown to BOP under Judge Joe
LaRosa. Thanks Joe for appreciating our boy and pulling him up with the big
boys for winners, and Kent for an awesome job handling again.
Yes Leslie I know your not so fond of his call name but you do know that
"Chompy" in Albania means Pocket Full Of Gold hahahaahhahaah couldn't resist
that one.
And last but not least Thank You to everyone ringside who saw and fell in love
with this big sable hunk at all these shows. Your comments and encouragement
will stay with us and keep us going while he is growing up and getting ready
for the big boy classes.
