I have some delayed brags from shows last weekend in Pueblo, CO last weekend
that I would like to share.
At the Southern Colorado Kennel Club show on Friday (11 Nov) our boy Diablo
(Sunfarm's Diablo V Enchanted ) went Winner's Dog, Best of Winners and Best
of Breed for two points under Mrs. Janet Turnage Nahikian. Diablo was
handled by Karen and Clint Livingston in the breed ring and by Sara Wintrone
in the group. He did make the first cut in the group but did not get a
placing. I thought he did real well and looked great, especially
considering this was his first time with Sara and his first trip to the
group ring.
On Saturday Diablo went Winner's Dog, Best of Winner's and Best of opposite
for three points (which was also his third major under judge Ms. Joyce
Vanek. This was extra special for me because I was showing Diablo. This
was Diablo's fourth weekend out and he has won 3 majors and has 12 points.
I am so thrilled by this young boy!
We also entered our girl Penny (Enchanted's Lucky Penny V Sunfarms) at the
show and she won her class 3 out of the four days under judges Mrs. Janet
Turnage Nahikian, Ms. Joyce Vanek and Mrs. Wendy Maisey. I think she is
right on the cusp of grasping the idea of showing.
