LOLOL Ed, I can relate.
Hunter goes to a Lutheran elementary school. He is used to hearing us talk
about "bitches" etc in the dog vernacular. He didn't at first understand
that other non dog people might not appreciate the verbiage. Last year, he
said something about
one of our "bitches" , and I had to explain to the shocked and puzzled
kindergarten teacher, why he would so cavalierly out with that term.
I have since gotten him to understand that dog people and "other " people do
not speak the same language necessarily. He now only uses the "b word" in
the context of a conversation with dog folks.....
Now how to answer his question at a recent trip to the Cryobank..."Mom, how
does the vet get the sperm from Joe into the tube so she can freeze it?"
(I looked busy really fast, lol) He does think my black tee shirt with the
BRIGHT PINK "Caninecryobank.com"
in the shape of a sperm is pretty funny. I do get some odd looks from
non-dog people. lol
The things people have to explain when they have animals, lol.
