[ SHOWGSD-L ] Bittersweet day...

Yesterday, my Buddy passed over the Rainbow Bridge. He was fine in the =
morning - stole Ariel's breakfast off of the coffee table. But, by the =
afternoon, he was in distress - panting, uninterested in eating, gums =
pale, body temperature dropping. He still, however, wanted to be where I =
was - followed me upstairs, outdoors, and into his beloved van. Peter, my =
vet, confirmed what I already knew, and Ariel and I soothed and comforted =
him as we sent him peacefully on his way. As Pete, Buddy's lifelong =
veterinarian said - "it's the end of an era." We loved him dearly and =
will miss him terribly...
