A special comment: I have seldom seen a judge give so much encouragement
to a potential handler. Jack Gialucca is a youngster who has been training
in conformation for 6 weeks. He showed several dogs this weekend and won
some of his classes. He has that raw natural talent that we all look
for. Evan recognized this and rewarded it to the point of giving Jack his
sport coat to wear the next time he is in the ring. The impression this
made on Jack will go with him the rest of his life. He was still on cloud
nine last night and now is going to get slacks and dress shirts and ties so
he can "look the part". Thank you Evan for encouraging this young man. We
need so many more of them.
