My initial feelings were that "Honey" would definitely not compete in situations 1 and 3, but I wasn't sure about 2 (since the puppy had originally been entered in the puppy classes). Bill's explanation that " 'Best Puppy' is properly known as 'Best in Puppy Classes,' makes it clearer, since it didn't seem to make much sense to rule out puppies that had gained champion status from being the "Best Puppy in the show", or the ones that a breeder handler wanted to show off in Bred By. So I guess that in the USA at least, Honey would have to sit out the Best Puppy class in her crate, LOL!
