Congratulations to all the winners at the GSDC/Central Mass. Show - It sure was
a day for ducks and die hard doggie exhibitors. Big thank you's to the Judges
(breed, obedience, CGC, and I think there was a herding event a couple miles
away) who stood out all day in downpouring rain & ankle deep mud, and to the
dedicated handlers who did an outstanding job every time around the ring on
slippery muddy grass, gotta give you guys and gals a big winners cheer and a
best of breed ribbon for doing such great jobs on all your doggies... Good job
to the GSDC/CM members and show committees.

They gaited around the mud drenched ring in pouring down rain using the whole
ring and never missed a stride -

And then there was Blu - He made me proud this day - I know its only a CGC but
he truly was not ready to do this test, with a short 5/10 minutes to get ready
and learn the down & stays, he gave it a try, to figure out what I wanted, and
then because he is a German Shepherd and loves me with the heart and soul of a
shepherd he looked me in the eye and we knew we could do this & we did - what a
guy! - thanks Blu and thanks to the patience of Evaluator Jacqueline Breault -
also want to thank Linda Chernak for help with the quick advice for the down
stay.
He is called Blu because there were 3 pups in his litter (red collar, black
collar and blue collar)
His name "Blu" just stuck with him and so that is what he shall be called.

gave us a run for the Best Puppy ribbon... Congrats to BOS puppy winner also
I had a great day - starting with Blu in the CGC - I don't care that it rained
buckets - the sun was shinning in my corner of the world - and ending with
Laura's dog "Kelly" who can stand on her head to find the food hidden under the
crate deck in the back of the car. What a great dog she is...Oh and Laura's not
so bad either...(VBG).. See ya all next week at the New Haven Show...jmt
