I know how you feel. We have 14 1/2yr old GSD and an 18yr old
cat... Somtimes, when they are sleeping, I check to make sure they are
breathing, sounds crazy, but I do!
When I read about Ben's dog, it immediately put tears in my eyes. I can't
imagine experiencing something like that. It's just terrible and I feel
so awful for them.

I have nightmares about getting up in the morning, or coming back from
someplace, and having one of my dogs dead. That must have been so very, very
