Average buyers are looking for a "family dog" - not one that can compete in "who has the most drive" - the "average" buyer just wants a beautiful dog that is nice to his friends and neighbors and his children's friends. That is what I have found. Also, those beautiful German style dogs often have such a high prey drive, that they seldom are willing to sit at the foot of the recliner and wait for a walk. The biggest problem I hear is the dog was too demanding. We have a breed in America that is very responsive to the style of the owner's lives. That is what my buyers are looking for. Evan L.
