It's a hot day and I think I'll go sit behind the evap Ok Stormy, I'll bite, there may be a zillion reasons a dogs tail will hang absolutely limp.....but if he/she is doing it in the showring, regardless of how fabulous the tail is outside the ring , then the dog should not be winning if the problem shows itself in the ring. Its like a dog that is wonderful in every way and "rock solid" outside the ring, only to lose it on individual exam.....on that day, in that ring...the animal should not be considered...regardless of behavior or physical condition at any other time.
