This weekend, Multi BISS & Multi Group Winning Ch. Rohan's Reward TC, CGC,
HT, CD, RA (Strider) earned his 28th, 29th & 30th Best Breed wins and a Group
4. And, at one of the shows our new puppy, Jagan's Remington of Jezra went
WB/BOS from the 9-12 class for her first point. This was her first time at an
all
breed show and only her fourth weekend out. Previous wins were a Best Puppy
under Doris Farrell, Futurity class winner and a Best in Specialty Match Puppy.
She was entered in two of the three shows.

On Friday at the Shasta KC show, under judge Vince Mulligan, Strider went
Best of Breed and Remy was Winners Bitch from the 9-12 class.

On Saturday at Butte County Kennel Club, under Mrs. McClary, Strider was also
Best of Breed and under the same judge took a Group 4.

On Sunday at Butte County KC, under Betty Krause, Strider again was Best of
Breed for his 30th Best of Breed win and Remy won the 9-12 puppy class.

Strider is shown to perfection at both all breeds and specialties by his
handler Art Sinclair who has shown him since his first show as a puppy where he
went Best Puppy and a Puppy Group 4. Remy is also handled by Art. Thanks to
Debbie Hopkins (gray dog Debbie) who took Remy back in for winners and went WB
&
BOS with her as Art was on his open bitch.

Special thanks to Tracy Radigan who got them ready for the ring and groomed
both dogs to perfection! Tracy and Anne Thompson's male, Jezra's Talledega,
shown by Art, was also WD, BOW on Friday and Sunday.

It was a great weekend for us in Northern California although extremely hot
(100+ to high 90s) and very smoky. The shows are very close to where the
fire was that came so close to Nancy Hubbell's house. We were in contact with
several people throughout the weekend and we were all very happy when we heard
that Nancy's two houses were saved. When we were eating dinner, the
restaurants
were filled with fire fighters from all over California that had come to
assist the local fire fighters.
