How many of you have considered what is best for our breed ? I hate to dwell
on the olden days when nationals were fun, judges were respected, even dogs
were respected (what a concept ), Gosh ! even boards were respected.Law suites
? horrors----no need. There should be no need now, and a wrongthat should
never have been implemented should not be considered of anyimportance.let's get
back to what is really important..... the improvement ofour breed, instead of
bickering about unimportant, idiotic "control" issues.Who cares who controls
the club if it is in the best interest of our breed. Big LOL.

I couldn't agree with you more on the above paragraph about having a
backbone. However, it really boils down to choices. Life is nothing but a
result of the choices you make. No one makes anyone do what he or she doesn't
want to do. You may say they twisted your arm to do something, BUT you are
ultimately the person who makes the choice. If you lack the backbone, and
you give up your power to someone else and make a wrong choice, it's still
YOU making the wrong choice.

In regard to what Sam posted, if that were a possibility, why would anyone
in their right mind agree to put themselves and their families in jeopardy
for a VOLUNTEER JOB WITH A DOG CLUB? I believe our Board has all the BACKBONE
they need and the good sense not to back down to threats. It's their
choice because it's their lives and OUR club they are protecting.
