I have had horrible things happening with my computer and my e-mail this past
year. I have anti-virus and spyware. I have given money to the Geek Squad at
Best Buy; I have given money to small, local "experts." The Geek Squad ripped
me off the most; I think the only requirement to work there is that the
"technician" must wear glasses and know how to operate the cash register!!
:-) :-)
Finally, in desperation, and ready to just buy a new computer, I took it to the
Tech people at the local Office Depot. For their standard flat fee (Diagnosis
and Repair) of $169, my computer is good as new!! They found four
critters...don't know the technical terms...virus, worm, whatever, they found
them and sent them to infinity and beyond!!
