[ SHOWGSD-L ] Animal rights

MANY years ago, at some shows up in Washington State,an early animal
rights (?) person went through the parking lot, and opened as many
crates as they could get to. Several dogs panicked and were run over on
the highway, and there was a large amount of publicity at the time, but
I don't think anyone was ever caught. My dog was smart enough to stay by
my car and wait, but many others did not. A sad, sad day. Doris E
