[ SHOWGSD-L ] AOL problems with the list............

I felt I should pass this on...this explanation came from another L list
that I'm on..........and it's a good explanation...please read it! I've
said several times to people that AOL does seem to have a problem with
various email lists...this explanation will work for all of them, not
just listserv lists, or freelists...but for all lists.

In its efforts to shield its users from spam, AOL apparently
has a "report as spam" button on its mailer. What apparently happens is
that some people have been reporting list mail, mail that they asked for
and had to go through a two step confirmation procedure to get, list
mail as spam.
