This can work in reverse also. When people see mutts as pretty and as
smart etc as the laba-whatever, they might just realize that their dog
they paid thousands for look no different than their mutt brothers. I
don't see how this would legitimize the breeding of these dogs. They
all will have to be altered to be in the events. I started with a
rather sorry looking purebred GSD in obedience. She was extremely smart
and did well. However, it wasn't soon before I wanted a better dog and
wanted to try conformation as well. If I'd had a mutt, it would have
