[ SHOWGSD-L ] AKC judging fees-- Unpaid AKC Employees

AKC will now charge judges a fee. My question here is will they pay the
people who put on shows year after year as unpaid employees of the AKC. I,
for one, as show chairman for my AB show and working with the GSDC of LA
make no money from all this work. If anyone has been show chairman for an AB
show then you know it is like a job but with no pay. The supt. and the AKC
make more money off these shows than anyone else. I am really getting tired
of being an unpaid employee. If I wanted to do all this work I could have
continued to work and collect a very nice salary. I am retired and maybe
this will just make me make the decision to retire from being an unpaid AKC
employee also.
