THE AKC is allowed, like the RED CROSS, to pay its Officers, staff and Board
Delegates from clubs are not paid
The RED CROSS over Pays its OFFICERS, as to many NON PROFIT organizations
I would assume that includes the AKC
However the Board and Officers are not paid, this is not a BUSINESS But a CLUB
that must be
run as a business in certain areas to comply with State and Federal Laws
I believe there is some confusion as to who gets paid and who does not at the
AKC
