Here's the message from Bill Hemby:
Today, the 11th Amended version of AB 1634, the mandatory sterilization bill
authored by Assemblymember Lloyd Levine died in the California State Senate.
Thank you for all of your efforts to defeat AB 1634! However, our fight is not
over. PetPAC continues to lead the fight to defeat mandatory sterilization
legislation in California and throughout our nation.
So for at least now, we can breathe. I'm sure, however, that they will come
back next year with another bill and we will start all over again.
