I love Carolyn but she's dead wrong about the weekend news. Next time you see
Frank ask him what he does in his spare time. This great man is unbelievable !

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] A NEW way to lose points
Went to some shows over the weekend. GREAT show site and a huge
grassy ring and hard working Club, with gorgeous mountains
surrounding. Greater Salt Lake GSD Club!
Took brother and sister. Third show weekend for these two very
young dogs. (19 mos.) Both took major reserves the first show
and BOTH won 5 p t. majors the second show. Male was B.O.S.,
and BOW. Sister won 4 pt. major on the third show also!
BUT...the Brother, bathed and gorgeous and 'ready' to go in
the ring....got stung on the foot by a bee 5 min. before time
to go in!! Bit at his own foot and limped until it was over!
....sigh....one can only dream. <G> Had to pull him...
so he still sits at 9 pts. with 4 & 5 pt. major.
A new experience for all of us. BEES! Who would have guessed!!
Recommendation: Add BEE REPELLENT to your traveling kit....<G>
Mar Haven's Up The Ante v Solitaire..bred and owned by us and
Linda Kury and handled by Zac Hudspeth ....a 5 & a 4 pt. major.
(3 Show weekends for her...14 pts.) THREE big majors! YAAAAY!
Mar Haven's Deal Me In v Solitaire...bred & owned by us & Linda
Kury and handled by Bill Basu. 5 pt. major...and a bee sting!
