But today finally came and we were caught off guard and never prepared.

companionship, children to miss your guidance, friends to miss your

friendly smiling face? I can still see you and your husband walking
hand and hand setting an example of what it is to be lifelong partners
and best friends. Most people are envious of all those Grand Victors
and Victrixes you two have bred. I say the hell with that. I want to
know how you kept your "love affair" alive.

have met you. Your magnetic aura captivated generations of devoted
followers. Some wanted to be just like you and emulate what you have
accomplished. They wanted you to teach them the secret of your
success. But most of them just wanted to be in your presence to listen

encouraging word or two from you when they just about given up all
hope. Your uniqueness has no rival. Your shadow falls on no one,
because they can't come that close to it. There was only one you. How
unfair.
My thoughts of you are interrupted by my dogs barking incessantly. I
get up to look out the back window. But there are no dogs there. I
forgot I put them in their crates earlier. I turn away from the window
and I hear it again. The barking comes from some far away place. A
place I've only read about. A place I only heard about in my dreams.
And it is then that I realize that the barking wasn't from my dogs at
all. The barking was from YOUR dogs as they opened the pearly gates and
welcomed their golden haired lady into Heaven. Your journey has just
begun, and you leave us wanting for more
