along those lines...the Turner Classic Movie channel is showing war films
all day long...right now, From Here to Eternity, and it
will go on. Battle of Britain at 1:30 eastern time.....I'm sure the
history channel is doing much the same thing.

Altho Roosevelt didn't describe December 7 as "a day which will live in
infamy" until the following day, today IS the anniversary of the bombing of
Pearl Harbor...and America entered World War II.... that speech has been
called one of, if not the, most effective political speeches of all
time.........and it was just about 6 minutes long.
